EXPLORE THE SIGNALS AROUND YOU

What is wardriving?

Wardriving is the practice of surveying nearby Wi-Fi networks while moving through an area. Wireless surveys can record where networks are visible and how signal strength changes along a route. Mapping those observations helps make wireless coverage easier to understand.

A new home for wireless exploration

Wardriver.org is being built around three ideas: collecting wireless surveys, visualizing your coverage, and keeping control of your data. The goal is to help you review the routes you’ve explored and spot places you’d like to survey next.

This is our temporary landing page while the project takes shape. The full site is coming soon. Stay curious, respect privacy, and survey responsibly.
